Each Academic year consists of four (4) terms

All School Fees are to be paid before the due date for payment mentioned in the invoice. Please refer to the School's Fee Structure (set out in the School’s website) for details regarding the School Fees.

For late payment of School Fees beyond the due date for payment mentioned in the invoice, a late payment fee of JPY100 (excluding consumption tax) per day, shall be imposed

Except for payment of School Fees at time of enrolment, it is preferred for payment of School Fees at all other times to be paid by GIRO. GIRO registration can be done on the day of enrolment.

ASP - The notice for withdrawal should be given a month in advance. The request cannot be accommodated in the same month and fee will be payable for the month. There is no 15 days fee refund, the refund policy applies on a monthly basis.

Students should responsibly use the school property, any defacing on the same will be charged.

In case of a student joining back within 1 year of withdrawal, no Induction Fees will be payable.

Bus

Bus registration charges will be applicable for regular routes and shuttle, while applying for the bus service for the first time and also if the bus service is resumed.

Transport declaration form has to be submitted. If a student changes residential address, a new application must be made to the school.

For the Cancellation of the Bus Services, a notice period of one month is required to be given to the School by the parents / guardians. If no notice or less than one full calendar months’ notice is given, payment in lieu of notice will be payable. Once the Bus Service is cancelled, the parent can re-apply for the Bus service by paying the Bus registration Fee as per the School's Fee Structure.

For the new bus service availing request, 15 days’ notice is applicable. Please note that due to inclusion of new students in the bus service, there may be change in the schedule by a few minutes, which will be intimated by the transport in-charge of the school.

Any damage /defacing to the bus property reported by the bus attendant or the bus driver will be charged to the responsible student.

Bus schedules/timings and contact details are subject to change and the same will be circulated at the earliest.

Parents are responsible for students until they board the school bus and alighting at their designated stop.

Books and Uniforms:

Books & Uniforms Purchased has an exchange period of one day. Failing which, no exchange or refund will be possible.

Withdrawal Policy:

For withdrawal, please fill in online withdrawal form - available in parent login myGIIS - side caption - 'school' - apply for withdrawal.

There should be a month’s notice given to the school office via mail, failing which, fee for the entire month will be payable.

Refund policy in case of withdrawal is applicable, only if the notice is given 1 month in advance. If the withdrawal notice is given after the generation of invoice for the next month, the whole month’s fee will be payable. There is no 15 days fee refund, the refund policy applies on a monthly basis.

At the time of withdrawal it is expected on the part of the student to return the library book before his or her last working day.

TC and other academic reports will be issued to the withdrawal student only after the approval from respective departments.

General

Students leaving school early for any reason must present a parent’s signed written note to the reception office or to the class teacher.

In case a student suffers from any contagious disease, it becomes mandatory on the part of the parents to submit a duly signed medical certificate to the school office.

The medical profile also needs to be duly filled, updated and submitted to the class teacher.

Fees once paid is non refundable.

Fees for the subsequet month should be paid on or before the 25th of each month.

Day care timings will be revised during Ramadan.

Day care is closed on all school and Public holidays.

Please send one sheet and one thin blanket along with the child. The same will be sent back for cleaning on the last day of the week.

Please ensure extra snack or lunch is sent with your child everyday.

Please ensure your child is toilet trained.

One extra set of clothes to be sent for daycare.

In case the child is unwell or in case of any vital information daycare supervisor to be personally mailed or intimated.

After School Activities

ASA is optional. Children are free to opt for multiple programmes but one programme per day

Fee for ASA may vary from term to term.

No transfer to other programme will be allowed once the activity is selected

Trainers will not be accountable for course content missed out.

Fee once paid is non-refundable.

If for any reason a scheduled session is cancelled by the school/trainer, the school will organise a make up class

The activities will proceed subject to minimums of 6 children in each class and the school’s discretion.

There will be no ASA activities during Ramadan days.

Important Note

There are 3 Terms per academic year and each term is of 4 months.

Fee should be paid for the full term before the 'Last Date of Payment' as mentioned in the invoice

Late fee charges of JPY 100 yen shall be applied for fee payment delays.

All fees are inclusive of 10% consumption tax and may undergo change if there is a revision in the consumption tax structure of Japan.

Fee has to be paid only via Auto-debit deduction (GIRO)

1st Time (Term 1) fee to be paid by CREDIT CARD and all subsequent Term Fee payments shall be paid by GIRO Auto debit only.

Please register your Japanese bank account (Cash Card) with our Finance Department for the Auto debit purpose.
